Merry Christmas!

Food has long been a prominent part of College celebrations, and this menu shows what the Senior Common Room were treated to in December 1934  – oysters, lobster, York ham, roasted grouse as well as Christmas pudding, frozen souffle and foie gras! For more information on food in College see the Archivist, Elizabeth Boardman’s article, which was published in the Brazen Nose, Volume 40, 2005-2006.
